By accessing or using PressMe, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Business Use Only
PressMe is offered only to businesses and their authorized personnel. By using PressMe, you represent that you act in a commercial capacity and have authority to bind the Organization. PressMe is not intended for consumer use.
The Service
PressMe helps you discover and review press coverage across public sources. Results are informational and may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate due to third-party sources.
Accounts and Organization Admin Controls
You are responsible for all activity in your account and Organization. Admins can add or remove members and manage access.
Acceptable Use and Rate Limits
- Do not use the Service for unlawful or harmful activity.
- Do not attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer the Service.
- Do not misuse automated requests or exceed stated limits.
- Do not bypass access controls or security restrictions.
- Do not resell the Service or provide it to third parties as a service bureau without written permission.
- Respect third-party rights and content ownership.
Credits, Fees, Taxes, and Refunds
Credits are prepaid units that allow an Organization to create a press release context and run up to five search runs associated with that context. Credits are deducted when the press release context is created. Credits do not expire and are non-transferable between Organizations. Credits are not refunded for partial or incomplete results caused by third-party sources, indexing, blocking, or changes on the public web. Purchases are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated at purchase. You are responsible for all applicable taxes. We may suspend access in the event of chargebacks or payment disputes.
Customer Content and Responsibilities
You own Customer Content. You grant PressMe a limited license to host, process, and display Customer Content solely to provide the Service. You are responsible for the legality and accuracy of Customer Content and for obtaining any required rights.
Intellectual Property
PressMe and its underlying software, design, and content are owned by Blit AS and its licensors. No rights are granted except as expressly stated in these Terms.
Confidentiality
Each party will use reasonable care to protect the other party's confidential information and use it only to provide or receive the Service.
Suspension, Termination, and Data
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service. You may delete your Organization at any time. When an Organization is deleted, we delete associated data. CSV export of press release results is available in the product. We may retain limited data where required for legal compliance, security, dispute resolution, or backup integrity.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, availability, or accuracy.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PressMe is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or business interruption. Our total liability for all claims in aggregate is limited to the amount paid to PressMe in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for willful misconduct or gross negligence where such limitation is prohibited by law.
Indemnification
You will indemnify and hold harmless PressMe from claims arising out of your Customer Content or misuse of the Service.
Third-Party Services
PressMe relies on third-party providers for authentication, hosting, search, analytics, and billing. We are not responsible for outages or issues caused by these providers.
Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by Norwegian law. Oslo District Court (Oslo tingrett) has exclusive jurisdiction.
Changes and Notices
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post updates and revise the date above. Notices may be sent to the email associated with your account.
Miscellaneous
You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond their reasonable control. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
